Our Policies

 At the Club

• Tennis is an active and physically stimulating sport. Ensuring you are properly warmed up and physically able to play will reduce the chance of injury.

• Errant tennis balls on the court can be increase the risk of stepping on one and falling. Whilst playing, ensure balls are not in play, pushed back to the fence or close to the net.

• Due to the nature of tennis clubs, there are times during the day or late in the evening when a member of the coaching team or staff are not on sight, please make yourself aware of this fact when playing at the club during these times.

• Our club car park is situated in a busy part of Crouch End Playing Fields with people driving through to other clubs, parents parking cars and children arriving/leaving around squad time. Please be aware of this when arriving and leaving the club.

• Stringing for your tennis racquets is available on-site at the club. Rates vary depending on whether you supply your own strings or use the string which is on offer at the club. Please enquire with your coach or member of staff.

Individual Lessons

• We understand that cancellations do happen, however we request that you make any cancellations clear to your coach as soon as you are aware, to allow them to organise replacement lessons. With this in mind, our cancellation policy is below:

  • More than 48 hours before lesson: No charge.

  • 48 hours – 24 hours before lesson: 50% charge.

  • 24 hours before lesson: Full rate charged.

  Membership

  ·        All players that take part in GTA sessions must be members of Georgians Tennis Club

  §  We have membership options for Academy Players and 10U players.

  §  If you have paid for a full terms Squad, then the £100 joining fee will be removed from the membership purchase.

  §  Please email membership@georgianstennisacademy.com with the required membership and the following information to join:

  §  Parent Name, Phone Number, Email, and Address

  §  Player Name and Date of Birth

  ·        Membership fees are to be reviewed annually in September. Any changes will be communicated via email.

  ·        A one-off joining fee is charged in the first year of membership. When a member leaves the club and then re-applies for membership a new joining fee is required.

  ·        Joining Fees and Membership once paid are not refundable under any circumstances.

  Payments

  ·        Payments for GTA sessions must be provided before the coaching takes place. Coaches have the right to turn away players who are not pre-booked onto the session.

  ·        All payments for GTA sessions must be given online. This would be through Tennisbiz.

  ·        Termly Squad bookings are non-refundable due to the desire for places and the overheads incurred.

  Sessions

  ·        Squad days are non-transferable. If you have booked Monday squads for the term and are unable to attend a Monday session, you cannot attend a different day’s squad without paying a pay & play fee.

  ·        Credit will not be issued for illness, or any missed sessions. In certain circumstances, credit can be given at the Academy’s discretion.

  ·        In cases of extreme weather that makes the courts unplayable, the squads will take place with off-court work. There are no refunds to be given in these circumstances.

  Consents

  ·        Georgians Tennis is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of young tennis players within its program. We have a safeguarding officer and all of our coaches are fully LTA licensed, accredited, and trained using the safeguarding requirements by the LTA

  ·        We ask that all parents of GTA players fill out this Photo Consent form and send it to info@georgianstennisacademy.com

  ·        If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please let us know.
